When you opt-in to Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group's SMS subscription service, you can expect to receive messages like: automated appointment confirmation messages, correspondence from our schedulers answering your questions or helping you schedule an appointment, and occasional messages about promotions or available offers.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive any SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again, or reply with the word "START".

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You may receive occasional promotional messages and responses to your questions and scheduling requests as required. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

By providing us with your mobile number and opting-in to allow text messaging, you authorize and grant permission to us or our agent(s) to send account-related text messages, including payment or appointment reminders and notifications related to the services requested or provided. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information about you through the use of any SMS Text Messaging service. We reserve the right to delete any information we believe to be in violation of this Privacy Notice.

You understand that electronic communications may be accessed by unauthorized parties when communicated across the Internet, network communications facilities, or other electronic means. You agree that we are not responsible for any electronic communication or any of your data which may be lost, altered, intercepted or stored without authorization during the transmission of any data whatsoever across networks not owned or operated by us. We do not guarantee that your information will not be misused or disclosed to third parties. We will not have any liability to you for any such misuse or disclosure.

Except as required or allowed by law, we will not use or disclose your information for any purpose for which you refuse us consent or later withdraw your consent. If you withdraw consent for Text Messaging, you agree that in spite of this withdrawal, we may continue to use the information previously provided to us to the extent that we are legally or contractually obligated to do so and to the extent necessary to enforce any contractual obligations you may have to us.
